「香港」係美食天堂,一諗起香港就會諗起好多美食。唔同國家嘅美食又有、高級食府佳餚又有、甚至街頭美食都一樣好多。

我相信街頭美食留俾好多人一份美麗嘅回憶。

細細個居住嘅地方係銅鑼灣大院百貨對面,晚上同哥哥媽媽一齊買宵夜,滿街都係木頭車嘅畫面真係好美麗。

咖喱魚蛋魷魚燒賣腸仔、燒魷魚、碗仔翅、魚肉燒賣⋯⋯等等。我相信大部份香港人都一定食過。

「咖喱街頭辣椒油」來自一位伯伯,當時我同老公喺藍田一個街市裏面食過,味道係回憶裏面從來沒有忘記,靠住呢一份「味道回憶」創造返呢份味道

 

Hong Kong is a paradise of amazing foods. Fancy restaurants, street food, traditional chinese Dim sum, or even different food from different cultures like malaysian food, all of it is amazing.

I especially believe that street food gives people an unique, yet beautiful kind of memory.

When I was little, I lived across that Daimaru Department Store in Causeway Bay. When it was night time, sometimes my mother, my brother and I went and bought some midnight food. When we went to the streets and bought the food, I saw this scene and it was mesmerizing. The scene was the street filled with hawker food carts with dim lights, the lights made scene look almost magical. 

Curry fishballs, squid, siu mais, or sausages etc., I believe that most Hong Kong people have already tried it before. The 'Curry Chili Oil' comes from an old grandpa from the shop in the market. Back then, when me and husband went to a market in Lam Tin, and we tasted the chili oil, and since then, I couldn't forget the flavour. So when I returned to Canada, I recreated the chili oil using only my memory, and created this amazing sauce!

 

A spoon of chili oil give you a great kick of your dish, this can be a dipping sauce, marinate poultry, or add into your noodle soup or even mix with dry noodles. Or any creation. Cooking with no boundary! Enjoy.
